System Care Inc. acquires Network Logix!

Today is a big day in Network Logix history.

This morning, I signed a “definitive agreement” for the merger of Network Logix with System Care Inc, (www.systemcareinc.com) a leading provider of managed technology services for small to mid-sized businesses, based in Cleveland, OH.

First, I want to apologize for the suddenness of this announcement. We have partnered on several projects with System Care over the last few years. Several months ago, both sides expressed some interest in accelerating the growth here in the state of Ohio initially. As we discussed this further, both sides became more and more excited about the possibilities for leveraging each other’s strengths. We realized that we are both very client-focused companies, and our cultures of providing excellence were a perfect match.

I think that now is the right time to join forces with System Care because there is a huge opportunity to leverage each other’s strengths and move even faster towards our long-term vision. With the merger, our vision remains the same: delivering happiness to clients, employees and vendors. We just want to get there faster.

We are excited about doing this for 3 main reasons:

  1. We think there is a huge opportunity for us to really accelerate the benefits of efficient technology use for our clients, and we believe that System Care is the best partner to help us get there faster.
  2. I want to align ourselves with a company that thinks really long-term, as well as does what’s in the best interest of our clients.
  3. The depth of staff and expertise offered by System Care will allow us to provide a better level of service and support that our clients deserve.

Q: How will I receive Technical Support going forward?

You will still request technical assistance using the same method you always have. You can email support@networklogix.com or call the Help Desk at 614-503-7139 option 2. Those of you that have interacted with our Help Desk over the last few months have already been working with the System Care staff, as we have been utilizing their service team since January. Many of you have received assistance from David Violante. He will remain your first-level account technician. We will be assigning multiple senior technicians to your account in order to provide an even higher level of support to you.

Q: Is Andrew leaving?

No, I have no plans to leave. I will be assuming the position of Tactical Operations Manager for both the Cleveland and Columbus offices. I believe that we are at the very beginning of what’s possible for System Care, and I am very excited about the future and what we can accomplish for our clients. Part of the reason for doing this is so that we can get a lot more done more quickly. System Care has a wealth of experience in a lot of areas, so I am excited to tap into their knowledge, expertise, and resources, especially on the technology side. This is about making our client’s business stronger than they are today.

All this being said, this was not an easy decision. Over the past several months, I had to weigh all the pros and cons along with the potential benefits and risks. At the end of the day, I realized that, once I determined that this was in the best interests of our clients, it basically boiled down to asking myself two questions:

  1. Do I believe that this will accelerate the ability to provide superior customer service to our clients?
  2. Do I believe that we will be able to help our clients grow faster through efficient use of technology?

After spending a lot of time with System Care and getting to know them and understanding their intentions better, I reached the conclusion that the answers to these 2 questions are YES and YES.

I will be holding in-person meetings with all the key client stakeholders during the next 30-60 days to discuss things in more detail. As always, I am happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

It’s definitely an emotional day for me. The feelings I’m experiencing are similar to what I felt at graduation day: excitement about the future mixed with fond memories of the past. The last 10 years were an incredible ride, and I’m excited about what we will accomplish together over the next 10 years and beyond as we continue to grow with you!
